Five years Rigorous Imprisonment, Rs. 10,000/- Fine and Rs. 200,000/- Compensation imposed on a Unit Manager of Mahaweli Authority

Colombo High Court Judge imposed five (5) years rigorous imprisonment, and fine of Rs. 10,000/- to a Unit Manager of Mahaweli Authority at Galkiriyagama.

Further, the Honourable High Court Judge ordered to pay Rs. 200,000/- as compensation to the Complainant.
