The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has made arrangements to conduct a series of Bribery and Corruption Prevention Programmes for the Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited. The first programme in the series was conducted successfully on 23rd May 2025, and was attended by nearly 40 officers.

Prevention Officers of the Commission, Ms. Nipuni Tennakoon and Mrs. Eranga Madushi Kumari, provided valuable insights to the participants on the Anti-Corruption Act, No. 9 of 2023, with special emphasis on bribery, corruption, unlawful asset accumulation, and the declaration of assets and liabilities. The resource persons also briefed the audience on preventing bribery and corruption, the Corruption Perception Index, the concept of integrity, and the repercussions of bribery and corruption.
