The Investigation Officers of CIABOC have apprehended an Assistant Legal Officer and a member of the Aurvedic Formulary Committee in the presence of a decoy of the Commission while accepting a bribe of Rs.50,000/- as an advance of the initially solicited bribe of Rs.03 lakhs and subsequently reduced up to Rs.2.5 lakhs to issue the annual permit for the year 2018 of a company namely Sanoda Herbal Products through Ayurvedic Formulary Committee (Committee which approves the quality of products to export or for domestic sale)
