The Principal of Thakshila Vidyalaya, Gampaha was arrested on alleged soliciting and accepting a bribe of Rs. 200,000/=

The Investigation Officers of CIABOC have arrested the Principal of WP/Gam/ Thakshila Vidyalaya, Gampaha on alleged soliciting and accepting a bribe of Rs.200,000/= on 23.12.2021 in accordance with a complaint received by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.

The suspect was thus arrested at the principals’ office when soliciting and accepting the said bribe to enroll the complainants’ child in Grade 7 to study in English medium at Thakshila Vidyalaya, Gampaha in the year 2022.
