The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, in collaboration with the Ceylon Electricity Board, conducts a series of Bribery and Corruption Prevention Programmes for its employees. Accordingly, a programme was conducted on 30 th and 31 st July 2025 for CEB officers of the Sabaragamuwa Province. It was held in the auditorium of the Education Centre at Pussella, and nearly 118 employees attended it.

Resource persons from the Commission, Mr. Shammi Srilal Thotawatta (Prevention Officer) and Mrs. Eranga Madhushi (Prevention Officer), provided valuable insights to attendees on the consequences of bribery and corruption and educated them on measures to prevent them. They also explained the Concept of Integrity and discussed the new Anti-Corruption Act. Lastly, they addressed the concerns attendees had regarding this issue.
