The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption and the University Grants Commission had a special discussion for the implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Action Plan on 26th June 2025 to discuss matters on educating and empowering the university community on combatting bribery and corruption and integrity. This fruitful discussion took place at the Mini Auditorium of the Commission.

As it requires different prevention dimensions to make Sri Lanka a bribery and corruption-free nation, various strategies to transmit it to future generations through the university community were discussed in detail with special emphasis on the action that needs to be taken by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption and the University Grants Commission together.

The Chairman of the University Grants Commission-Senior Professor Kapila Senevirathne, the Secretary, Deputy Secretary and several officials of UGC attended the discussion on behalf of the UGC. Mr. K. Bernard Rajapakse – Commissioner- CIABOC-, Mr. R.S.A.Dissanayake - Director General-CIABOC, Mrs. Subhashini Siriwardane- Deputy Director General, and Prevention Officers Mr. Sampath Arachchige, , Ms. Nipuni Tennakoon and Mr. Shilamega Welithota were present on behalf of the Commission.
