இலஞ்சமானது குற்றவியல் தண்டனைச் சட்டக் கோவையின் பிரகாரம் தண்டனை வழங்கப்படும் குற்றங்களில் ஒன்றாக 1883 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதலே கருதப்படுகின்றது. ஆங்கிலேயர் ஆற்சிக் காலத்திலும் இலஞ்சம் ஒரு குற்றவியல் தவராக சட்டப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது. 1954 ஆம் 40 ஆம் இலக்கச் சட்டமானது நடை முறைக்கு வந்தது. 1958 ம் ஆண்டின் 40ஆம் இலக்கச் சட்டத்தின் மூலம் இலஞ்சத் திணைக்களமானது நீதி அமைச்சின் கீழ் தாபிக்கப்பட்டது.

The interview board presided over by Commissioner(III) & the Director General and about 50 applicants had faced the interview.

  • Gap analysis between United Nations Convention Against Corruption and existing laws pertaining to bribery or corruption in Sri Lanka, has been completed. Checklist is submitted for the approval of the Consultative committee. The Consultative Committee is headed by the Hon. Attorney General and other members of the committee are, Hon.
